Email discussion groups allow any number of people to participate in ongoing discussion in a very simple way. Once an email address is added to a list of members of an email group, the owner of that address is informed and given the email address of the group. A single message sent to that address is then multiplied, with a copy going to every other member. So, in turn, every member receives all posts sent in reply by other members. The email group system we are experimenting with is 'Yahoo groups'. If you are a VOTFI member who would like to experience email discussion in the meeting_votfi group, contact us using the data supplied on the Contacts page. Be sure to tell us what e-mail address you want to use for the group as we can't add you without this. (N.B. You must also be a member of VOTF to join this discussion, and sign a stringent confidentiality pledge.) With so much going on there is lots to discuss, so why not join in?
